Ogyre Code of Conduct

The Ogyre Code of Conduct is the set of ethical, social, environmental, and operational standards that applies to Ogyre’s Waste Collection Activities (see Ogyre Protocol for more details) worldwide.

Its purpose is to ensure that collection activities are carried out responsibly, transparently, and in line with Ogyre’s values. The Code applies to fishers and local partners.

It is built around three main areas: environmental responsibility, social safeguards, and business integrity. These include proper waste management, supply chain traceability, safe working conditions, child welfare and anti-exploitation measures, fair working conditions, prevention of harassment, compliance with local laws, and anti-corruption requirements.

The Code of Conduct helps ensure that Ogyre’s impact is not only environmental, but also social: protecting ecosystems while supporting the dignity, safety, and well-being of the people and communities involved.
